Quartz Care & Maintenance

For daily maintenance, simply wash DIFINITI & Diresco countertops and flooring with a soft cotton cloth and warm water. Mild soap may be used if desired. Please DO NOT use any form of bleach, ammonia, or Bar Keepers Friend.

If necessary, scrub area with a damp magic eraser with (light/medium) pressure. For stubborn blemishes, please use a small amount of no-bleach soft scrub, agitated with a non-scratch Scotch-Brite pad. We recommend MORE cleaning products for your quartz care needs; it’s that easy to clean and maintain DIFINITI & Diresco.

Helpful Hints

Several chemicals on the market are corrosive to and may attack many surfaces including DIFINITI & Diresco. The potential damage these chemicals can cause to your surface is many times irreversible. Be sure to take the precautions listed below when caring for your quartz surfaces.
Do not expose your DIFINITI or Diresco surfaces to oven cleaners, abrasive cleaners, battery acid, paint removers, furniture strippers, metal cleaners or similar products.
DIFINITI & Diresco are not heat proof, chemical proof or fracture proof. By exercising common sense protections, the beauty of your DIFINITI or Diresco quartz will last throughout the years.
Never use abrasive or harsh scrub pads on your DIFINITI or Diresco surfaces as these can permanently scratch and dull the surface.
Do not apply sealers, penetrants or topical treatments to polished DIFINITI or Diresco, as these products are not needed and may dull or give the appearance of inconsistent polish.
We recommend applying Stonetech Quartz & Tile Sealer to Diresco velvet or Difiniti Matte or Honed finish. Sealer should be applied at the time of installation. This sealer should be reapplied every two years.
